Optimization - Web Scraper integration

Overhauled business process by designing and implementing a web scraper to aid in the metric collection of MNopedia details and organizing data in an Excel sheet, increasing collection rate from weeks done manually to less than 5 minutes.

After a brand was acquired, a new website had to be created for it under the company. Laws in Canada required the content to be available in English and French and they had to be done manually to be accurate, cross-functional collaboration was imperative for this project.

Acquisition Website Creation

Project Overview

- Creating a source of truth and formatting under the style guide for products under the brand.

- Created webpages and wrote initial copy, adhering to international laws and the original brand's look.

- Aligned content and collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure acquired products had accurate content in French and English.

Monitored pain-point through analyzing survey results and discovered the ‘Request a Quote’ submission button malfunctioned. Reported, quantified, and collaborated to solve the user experience malfunction recovering lost leads valued at $25.2MM.

Survey & Discovering broken RAQ fix

Project Overview

  • Distributing Surveys to users to improve user experience based on time on site and pages visited.

    • Flagged and monitored comments regarding filling out the “Request a quote form” and not being followed up with by the company.

    • Investigated by cross-referencing the time the survey was filled out to find the session in ‘Quantum’- a data management system- to watch experience, tag similar errors, and quantify the occurrence

  • Synthesized substantial amounts of data (e.g., Google Analytics, Quantum) applying quantitative modeling to analyze and evaluate actionable insights for distinct audience segments and development in terms of website, campaign, usability/accessibility, user behaviors, and preferences for opportunities.

Acquisitioned products webpage creation

Responsible for creating pages for and rebranding an acquisition. 8 distinct product pages, 1 series page, 1 material page, 3 additional pages updated

Project Overview

  • Creating a single source of truth by consolidating four different sources of truth across the company, noting discrepancies and confirming true product details with product owners and artifacts organized in Excel.

  • Created webpages and writing initial copy aligned with the voice of the brand.

  • Aligned content and collaborated with cross functional teams to assure acquisitioned products had content for their own webpages, material page, and new line page.

  • Designed and maintained pages under Sitecore system.

  • 8 distinct product pages, 1 series page, 1 material page, 3 additional pages updated

Website translation

Translated the website, which has more than 300 pages, into Spanish within 3 months.

- Created a general timeline for tackling the project in more manageable steps

- Grouping category types such as product lines & product FAQ.

- Spoke with the Mexico team regarding regional terms to monitor for SEO purposes and include on the page.

- Flagged and monitored relinking, SEO keywords, and images available on the site.

- Fixed 75 broken links due to the transition from .com to .mx site

I was hired to illustrate 30 art pieces and complete the layout for a children’s book story about a Grandmother, her grandkids, and addictive phones within a month. I enjoyed the story and thought it highly relevant given the findings studied and released regarding youth and screens.
