At a glance: Translated content on the Zerust.mx website, over 300 pages in 3 months.

Project Overview

I was requested to translate the website, which has more than 400 pages, in 3 months.

  • Created a general timeline for tackling the project in more manageable steps

  • Grouping category types such as product lines & product FAQ.

  • Spoke with the Mexico team regarding regional terms to monitor for SEO purposes and include on the page.

  • Flagged and monitored relinking, SEO keywords, and images available on the site.

  • Fixed 75 broken links due to the transition from .com to the .mx site

Outcome and Results

Additionally, the next 6 month sprint Completed tackling the translation of available image descriptions, FAQ, the Technical Data Sheets for each product and improving the SEO. This was a difficult project because my understanding of the technology and industry was limited with only 2 months of experience at the company. It led to a lot of rapid learning which was beneficial at presenting the products in tradeshows.

Acquisitioned products webpage creation

  • Aligned content and collaborated with cross functional teams to assure acquisitioned products had content for their own webpages, material page, and new line page.

  • Designed and maintained pages under Sitecore system.

  • 8 distinct product pages, 1 series page, 1 material page, 3 additional pages updated

Design Process

Webpages had to be followed.

Having spent so much time on the pages previously allowed me to focus on creating the best experience for the user. This meant challenging confusing naming conventions and highlighting the importance of the CTA, letting users know the brand they previously knew was rebranded.

Outcome and Results

We went live according to schedule. All information accurately portrayed the new finalized source of truth, and all the buttons were functional.
